Перший заступник міністра охорони здоров'я України Василь Лазоришинець нагадав оперативну інформацію щодо кількості хворих в Україні, кількості пацієнтів, які перебувають на апаратах штучної вентиляції легенів та число померлих. Серед тем, які розглядалися на селекторній нараді, були: кількісний та якісний супровід лабораторних досліджень, адже особливе значення має час, частота та правильність забору матеріалів у хворих та померлих; роль епіднагляду та моніторинг за епідситуацією; поради сімейним лікарям та терапевтам, які першими обстежують хворих; особливості лікування вагітних та породіль; стан надання екстреної допомоги, проблеми супроводу хворих на догоспітальному етапі; особливості лікування дітей; якість проведення інтенсивної терапії та багато ін. Обговорення всіх питань супроводжувалось порадами міжнародних експертів, які паралельно інформували про світовий досвід. Міністр охорони здоров'я України Василь Князевич звернувся до науковців та головних спеціалістів з проханням консолідуватись та оперативно реагувати на зміну динаміки чи клініки перебігу захворювань. Протоколи, які отримали медики з різних питань супроводу хворих, можуть змінюватись, але лікарі на місцях щохвилини повинні відчувати підтримку фахівців, аби ухвалювати правильні рішення.
