When i read that chart it appears to me that the DEAD figure is 344 + 18 + 18 = 380 for the 18th?

They are about at their max, but the report shows releases from the hospital too. So, the number is the total hospitalized since the 30th at some point, but thousands have been released from the hospital from that number also.

But guess what? If no antibiotic (antibacterial) is having any effect, it's probably not pneumonic plague, which is caused by y. pestis bacteria.

Pardon my French but those numbers are astonishing.
A good friend of mine thinks this is a trial run or they would have dropped the bug all around the globe at once. He has a point. Not that it matters, people are sick and dying.
Reported incidence in most countries of greater Europe hardly constitutes a "trial run". Any day now, we'll be hearing how it finally arrived in Spain, where it can no doubt then be officially dubbed as "Spanish Flu", (2nd Edition, of course).

ReplyDeleteSherrie, this is one to report on if you can. I'll see what I can dig up for you, but if my understanding is correct, this relates to how the flu is adapting more to humans and thus becomes more deadly and easier to transmit.
I think this flu strain is becoming more like the 1918 Spanish flu. Can anyone confirm?
Start searching for RBD D225G. I can see why the WHO didn't want to release this.
As far as numbers go, what is notable in this short piece from 11/18 is this- "eighteen of these fatalities occurred in the past 24 hours"- and this- "In the past 24 hours, nearly 45 thousand more Ukranians have become ill with the flu."..........Take Care, Andruski
