Swine Flu/H1N1 Vaccine In Europe Linked to Narcolepsy - People are Falling Asleep Randomly!

Another side affect from the H1N1 Flu Shot is coming to the forefront!  Narcolepsy is Happening to people who have taken the Swine Flu/H1N1 vaccine!  Once this is diagnosed in someone, they are Never allowed to drive again, as there is no cure for it.

There have been 27 reports of suspected narcolepsy in people across Europe vaccinated with Pandemrix, the H1N1 swine flu vaccine made by GlaxoSmithKline.

30 Million in Europe had been vaccinated with the same vaccine.

Experts say 25000 Britons have the problem but only 20% of them have been officially diagnosed with it.  But the U.K. officials are saying no one has it from taking the vaccine.

Finland has stopped giving out the vaccine, due to 8 cases there. 10 are in Sweden, 6 in France and 1 in both Germany and Norway.  But, how many more are there in reality and the people are not getting it "officially" diagnosed?  Would You get something like that diagnosed and then NEVER be allowed to drive again?

From the article this is what a GlaxoSmithKline representative said:

A spokesman for GlaxoSmithKline said: "Information surrounding the reported cases remains limited at the current time. GSK is conducting its own investigation in an effort to gather as much additional data as possible regarding the observed cases and is working closely with the regulatory authorities, including the European Medicines Agency (EMA)
"Global experience with previous large-scale immunisation programmes has shown that it is likely that a certain level of adverse events will be reported. The adverse events that are reported may be the result of underlying conditions, or new conditions that occur in temporal association with the vaccination, and some events may be related to the vaccine.
"Having reviewed the currently available data and information regarding the reported cases of narcolepsy, which remains limited at this time, as well as GSK’s own safety database, the Company has concluded that the currently available information is insufficient to assess the likelihood of a causal relationship between Pandemrix and narcolepsy."

Please let people know this information and again as the Flu season arrives - DO NOT TAKE ANY VACCINES!

EU: no safety concerns as 10 million get H1N1 shots

EU: no safety concerns as 10 million get H1N1 shots

Unbelievable - they say there have been NO serious side effects?!

Article:

LONDON (Reuters) - Some 10 million people across the European Union have now been vaccinated against H1N1 swine flu and so far no unexpected serious safety issues have been identified, the region's drugs watchdog said on Thursday.

The most frequent adverse reactions have been fever, nausea, headache, allergic reactions and injection site pain, but these were mostly non-serious and had been expected, the European Medicines Agency said.

The safety update is the first analysis of adverse reactions following the roll-out of three vaccines across Europe -- GlaxoSmithKline's Pandemrix, Novartis's Focetria and Baxter's Celvapan.

New clinical trial data did show a greater incidence of fever following the second dose of Pandemrix in babies from 6 to 35 months and an assessment of that data was ongoing, the agency added.

I find it amazing the out right lies, there are reports everywhere of deaths and adverse side effects - there have been dozens of those here in the blog! How can they LIE like that?!

Another Plague Lashes Out in Europe - Article Is From Associated Content Site 11/29/09 8:00

Another Plague Lashes Out in Europe - Article Is From Associated Content Site

This is an article from Associated Content, which if I am correct is available for MSM companies to pick up if they want. This article goes through all the information we know about already, including the spraying of Ukraine, WHO ignoring what is going on there, etc.

Article

As if the hysteria of H1N1 influenza were not enough to alter the mood of the population, now there is another disease, more dangerous than the flu around Europe and apparently some U.S. states as well. This new threat to public health has the particularity to calcinate the lungs of those affected.

In Ukraine 1.5 million people have been infected, and thousands more are diagnosed every day. So far, preliminary numbers show that at least 300 people have died from the disease, most of them had no medical complications prior to getting the violent illness. The rapid expansion of this unknown disease may be due in part to the high density of the population in Ukraine and the fact that there is a high migration rate.

The possible causes of this new disease are discussed; one of them being the fact that many of its characteristics are similar to the 1918 Spanish Flu, which killed millions. Other scientists believe it can be a new version of pneumonic fever, due to the short time it takes to cause death.

Hundreds of residents in Kiev, complained that their neighborhoods and surrounding cities were repeatedly sprayed by planes which left dozens of chemical trails in the sky. The new disease appeared in Ukraine a few days after these cities were sprayed. Local newspapers reported that several planes flew aboveKiev, confirming what was said by the residents.

Although for now there has not been made a connection between the disease and any pharmaceutical company in the case of influenza A, some researchers believe that the way in which the disease appeared closely resembles the way in which influenza A was discovered. Wayne Madsen, an investigative journalist who has covered the emergence and development of influenza A, said that hospital officials found traces of the 1918 Spanish flu in the DNA of one of the victims of this new disease, which makes it practically impossible this occurred randomly in the environment, but rather, it could have been created in the laboratory.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization denies that anything like that has happened, and instead says it is a mutation of H1N1 influenza. Gregory Hartl, WHO spokesman says this is a plague that can affect any human being. ''The level of severity with which it attacks people is unknown,'' said Hartl. On the streets of Ukraine, people seem to be wary of the government´s capacity and credibility to deal with the emergency. Most of those interviewed by Russia TV agree that the government should stop scaring people.

Estepania Petrikovic began to feel unwell two weeks ago. Soon she could not breathe and his body´s temperature reached 40 degrees C. ''I was almost dead when they brought me to the hospital. They put on a drip, and do not know what happened afterwards,'' said Petrikovic. Health agencies have warned that new waves of disease will come, and it's not a good idea to let the guard down just because the explosion of sick patients has dropped in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, in the U.S. there is suspicion that some patients in hospitals in North Carolina may be infected with the new pulmonary plague. According to media reports, last January, health agencies of the United States visited several police departments around the country and warned that in the winter of 2009 there would be a flu pandemic. How did they know? That's a mystery until now. One fact has been confirmed, and it is that several pharmaceutical companies such as Baxter Pharmaceuticals conducted experiments with people in Eastern Europe, including Ukraine. The results of these experiments was the death of almost all those in whom they experimented. The doctors who carried out the experiments were arrested, but the drug company was not charged with any crime.

After the experiments were confirmed, several doctors like Leonard Horowitz warned last June about a possible flu pandemic that would originate in eastern Europe. In Poland, a hundred people were used in experiments, and at least 20 of them died from what they were injected. Also in January and February of this year, doctors in the Czech Republic warned that an attempt to cause an influenza pandemic would occur in the winter.

According to Dr. Bill Deagle, two planes operated by the United States but of Russian production, were seen flying over cities in Nigeria and Pakistan. The planes described as AN-124 and of military use, were forced to land in Mumbai, India, by the Pakistani Air Force. When they were
inspected, the police found equipment capable of spraying 100 thousand pounds of chemicals. Although no traces of any chemicals were found, the detention of the crews suggests these aircraft intended to carry out spraying operations.

Another fact that has sounded the alarm of the population is the fact that several doctors who wanted to warn about the possibility that Baxter and other companies worked to create a biological plague, have been attacked by police and special forces in their own homes, to prevent that further details get out to the public. The last case was Dr. Joseph Moshe, who warned about the intention of Baxter Pharmaceuticals to create a biological weapon. Dr. Moshe was stopped while driving his car in West Los Angeles by a team of Special Forces. Media reports reveal that Moshe was sent to Israel immediately after his arrest, and so far his whereabouts and health status are unknown.

Baxter Received Approval for avian flu (H5N1) pandemic vaccine CELVAPAN in Europe 11/24/09 8:45am

Baxter Received Approval for avian flu (H5N1) pandemic vaccine CELVAPAN in Europe

Thank you Mary for linking this to us.

Article:

Baxter has received positive recommendations for its avian flu (H5N1) pandemic vaccine CELVAPAN for use in the European Union, it has revealed.

The Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use of the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) has issued its verdict on the product ahead of the firm submitting its licence for the vaccine - which could authorise its use in the event of the World Health Organization declaring a pandemic.

This recommendation comes after a clinical trial found that vaccines for two different H5N1 virus strains were well-tolerated and generated an immune response in candidates.

Hartmut Ehrlich, vice-president of bioscience global research and development at the firm, commented: "This is another step towards our goal of supplying a safe and effective vaccine to protect the population against a possible influenza pandemic."

In other Baxter news, the firm's board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.29 (17p) per common share last week, marking an increase over the previous quarterly rate of $0.26 per share.

Is it Really SAFE? Or should countries make sure it does NOT have the Live Real Virus in the vaccines, as Baxter has sent out before?!

Europe and Swine Flu Vaccine - What Countries are Doing What 11/12/09 8:55am

Europe and Swine Flu Vaccine - What Countries are Doing What

Article:

In Britain, there are no long lines of people seeking swine flu vaccine. Doctor's offices aren't swamped with desperate calls. And there are no cries of injustice that the vaccine is going to wealthy corporations or healthy people who don't really need it.

Here, and across most of Europe, vaccine to protect against the pandemic flu is mostly given by invitation only to those at highest risk for flu complications.

"That is one of the great advantages of the British health system," said Dr. Steve Field, president of the Royal College of General Physicians. "We have a list of all the names of patients who qualify to be vaccinated."

When Britain unrolled its pandemic vaccination program last month, it designed its campaign to ensure that priority groups — including pregnant women, health workers and those with chronic health problems like diabetes, cancer and AIDS — get the shots first.

Instead of advertising that vaccine had arrived and waiting for the lines to form, Britain's National Health Service sent letters, inviting all those who qualify to make an appointment and get the shots first.

Field said Britain's socialized health care system allows the country to target people who need to be vaccinated quickly: "It's not like the U.S., where it's the survival of the fittest and the richest."

Just this week, Americans learned that Wall Street giants Goldman Sachs and Citigroup got swine flu vaccine, even as many doctor's offices and community clinics still had none. The companies obtained the vaccine through standard procedures, and it was targeted to employees who met criteria for vaccination. But the perception of unfairness set off an outcry.

In the United Kingdom, the general population will be offered the shot after priority groups have been taken care of, probably in about two months. For now, only children with health problems are a priority; healthy children are not.

Similar programs are being carried out in other European countries, all of which have socialized medicine:

— In Germany, doctors have also been contacting high-priority patients to come in for their swine flu shot, though other people who have asked for one have not been turned away.

— In Sweden, Denmark and Finland, some local governments are sending invitations to people in high-risk groups or posting information about vaccine availability on their Web sites.

— So far, France is only vaccinating health care workers. Its health minister said 6 million people in priority groups would start getting invitations to be vaccinated next week.

In North America, swine flu vaccination has largely been a free-for-all, although some U.S. states have recently beefed up their screening process to ensure pregnant women, children and people with health problems get shots before healthy older people.

In Canada, which has a form of socialized medicine, health officials began an investigation this week after professional hockey and basketball players got the vaccine ahead of thousands of children.

Another trend has also affected the trans-Atlantic vaccination picture: While Americans and Canadians appear to be clamoring for the vaccine, many Europeans appear indifferent.

Verona Hall, a London-based midwife, said that among her dozens of pregnant patients none has accepted the invitation to take the shot. The reluctance among pregnant women stems in part from fears the vaccine could hurt their babies, but other priority groups have also shown little interest in the flu shot.

Hall herself recently received a text message asking her to book an appointment to get the vaccine. She declined. "It just doesn't seem that serious here," she said. "Maybe if there are a lot more cases, more people will consider having it. But right now it isn't a priority."

British officials estimate there have been more than 600,000 swine flu cases since the virus was identified in April. In the U.S., experts say there have been millions.

In the U.S., the federal government is paying for the vaccine and rationing supplies to each state. Then state and local health departments decide where it goes next — from schools to doctor's offices to community health clinics and even some large companies with health directors.

On Thursday, the director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention wrote to local health departments, asking them to ensure the vaccine is getting to high-risk groups first. Dr. Thomas Frieden warned that decisions that appear to send vaccine beyond high-priority groups "have the potential to undermine the credibility of the program."

Lenny Marcus, a public health expert at Harvard University, said the anxiety among Americans about vaccine shortages may have a snowball effect.

Early on, U.S. officials predicted there would be 120 million vaccine doses available by October. They later slashed that estimate, and as of this week there were only about 38 million doses in the country.

"When people believe there's a shortage, that increases demand," Marcus said. "The images of people lining up for hours to get the vaccine, which is in short supply, has a big impact. ... Parents with kids may suddenly be desperate to get them immunized."

In contrast, there are no pictures in the British tabloids of crowded clinics. And the Department of Health won't reveal how many doses are available, saying only that enough vaccine to cover the entire population — 60 million people — had been ordered.

For now, the biggest problem confronting Britain's vaccination effort is not a shortage or public demand. In recent weeks, postal strikes have delayed delivery of about 35 million letters. Health officials worry that high-risk patients waiting for their swine flu vaccine invitation letters might never get them.

"The timing isn't great," said Field, adding doctors would also be telephoning or sending patients text messages if they qualified to get a swine flu vaccine. "So far we have not had a lot of terribly anxious people here."
